Rye Town Museum and Rye Public Library
Before 2002 when the museum was open, the Library was the place where documents/books about Rye were collected; The RHS had a small museum display in the Town Hall from 1985, but it was the Library where people went to research town history. The Library's NH Room today is testament to that history. We in the RHS are grateful to the Library staff for working so closely with us and co-sponsoring so many public programs. People interested in town history research should always include Library's NH Room as well as the Town Museum.
