We are very excited to announce the commencement of a project the Rye Historical Society has been planning for a long time.  Thanks to Louise Tallman and the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation we have obtained proper funds to digitize a large collection of photographs taken by turn-of-the-twentieth-century Rye photographers A.R.H. Foss and Clarence Trefrey.  This collection will be available for viewing both online and in our museum.  We hope to reach out to our large community of members who live in town as well as those who live farther away, by having some of our collection accesable through the internet. 

Because we are in the beginning stages of this project, we will be making progress at a steady pace each week.  Please check back often, and bookmark out catalog site, as we hope to provide you with new images on a weekly basis!
