Supply Trefethen Diaries
Larry Keech, a descendant of the Trefethen Family, writes a series of articles inspired by his digitizing and detailed editing of the diaries of Supply Foss Trefethen (1856-1910). He lived in the north part of Rye, was a man of many skills, including house building, and was very active in Rye town affairs. He also worked at the Navy Yard in the 1850s and 1860s. The full diary was catalogued and is accessible at the Portsmouth Athenaum at this link: https://athenaeum.pastperfectonline.com/library/62573A40-DC82-4B25-A58D-193931485926

As with many of his generation, he served his country and returned to his hometown and continued to contribute to the life he knew there.
